scattered thoughts...and something new and pretty.

So many blogs have been left to collect dust...
I've read the same page over and over for lack of something new from a mind I miss.
I know what its like, so lest my page also go to seed....here is something new.

The stars I watched until late last night,
searching for answers in their twinkling light. * *
Silent as ever, then were they, * * *
Until each light vanished in new day.

No answer they gave me,
No ear to my plee, * * *
No words of sweet wisdom,
to substitute thee.
* * * *
But for one brief moment,
I flew free in the stars.
Unbound by the pain,
and unchained to the scars.

There are some things in life that are worth great pain.
Some things that for your own good, have to be dwelt with. Other times sacrificing yourself is
all that can be done at the time....
Some pains can be chosen, some foreseen, others we take at the time they are sprung upon us, and some we cant.
Still others are simply better left alone.
There are things in life worth fighting for, and many times fighting means pain.
But part of life too, is learning to choose your battles carefully...
No one likes to be hurt. I know I dont, and I'm pretty sure you dont either. Usually people dont like causing others hurt either.
Good then, that there is a God of wisdom to guide me around, or through these things.
I need to look to Him more...
there is so much that I cant do on my own.
